At STENTZ, we start each project by performing a detailed analysis of your bottles to assess the degree of soiling involved.
This analysis phase exemplifies true STENTZ expertise, and is crucial to perfectly size your future washer, dryer or washer/dryer. It guarantees that your machine will deliver perfect results for your bottles, without having to invest in an oversized machine (avoiding additional purchasing costs, excess energy consumption, etc.).
Our soiling analysis is primarily based on samples of the bottles to be washed and dried, sent to us by you, as well as other factors. Obviously, the geographical (and therefore geological) location of the storage facility and its humidity levels are important.
We apply our extensive experience to design machines specifically adapted to screen-printed bottles, guaranteeing perfect results without any risk of damage to the bottles.
In accordance with your specific situation and expected results, the brushes will also be precisely designed (choice and combination of fibres, etc.). Brushes for corks and the bottle bottoms can be added to complete the washing process if needed.
With STENTZ washers/dryers, your bottles will be perfectly clean with an excellent surface finish (no marks or scratches, etc.).
Practical and economical, STENTZ washers are designed to use the same brushes for all your bottles (different starwheel formats which adjust the way that bottles are pushed against the brushes).
Efficient and eco-friendly drying
Mainly used just before the labelling process, our dryers cover the whole bottle from top to bottom, using nozzles that blow out hot air. This hot air is generated via air compression, without the need for electrical resistors, demonstrating our commitment to the environment. If required, our still wine dryers can be equipped with a blowing system to dry the bottoms of bottles.
STENTZ dryers are equipped with a smart management system: in the event of an unexpected stoppage, the turbines will partially shutdown, facilitating the rapid resumption of production.
The energy efficiency of our dryers is particularly important to us and we strive to optimise their performance wherever possible. In accordance with the output speed and/or bottle shape, the turbine flow rate can be adjusted using variable speed drives, thus reducing energy consumption.
For output rates of 3,000 bottles per hour or more, our dryers are equipped with programmable logic controllers and 10″” touchscreens. In order to meet your specifications as precisely as possible, we can incorporate both Siemens and Schneider PLCs.
Obviously, connectivity and remote maintenance are also key features of STENTZ machines, which are equipped with routers that can be integrated into a wired network or connected via WiFi or 4G.

STENTZ washing/drying solutions are fully designed and manufactured in-house, including any machining and automation work. With this total process control, our team can provide solutions to virtually all of your specific customisation requirements.
All our machines are entirely designed, manufactured and assembled at our workshops in Alsace. In this way, we can guarantee the quality and proper functioning of every machine produced.
We oversee the on-site installation, whether carried out directly by our teams or via local partners, depending on your situation.
Common wearing parts and consumables are held in stock and can be dispatched within 24/48 hours. We carry out extensive upstream standardisation work when designing our machines to minimise the number of products held in stock and provide the highly-responsive service essential to your business.
For customised designs, we provide our customers with a list of specific parts that we recommend keeping in stock. If necessary, we can stock these parts at our premises.
